Motorcycle Risers

Motorcycle Handlebar Risers

Upon first thought, it may not seem like motorcycle risers affect your comfort while riding, but that’s not correct. Handlebar risers adjust the height and angle of your bars so that you’re not constantly reaching out for them. With the bars coming to you, there will be less stress on your shoulders, arms, hands, and even back which can make a huge difference especially when on a long road trip. Besides the comfort factor, risers are a key component to your bike in that they securely attach your handlebars to your front end. So, whether you’re making changes to your Harley-Davidson or building a custom chopper, having a quality set of handlebar risers will make a difference every time you get on your bike and ride.

With custom motorcycle risers from Paughco, Harddrive, LA Choppers, Custom Chrome, and our own trusted Demon’s Cycle brand, we have tons of options so that you can find the perfect risers. A few of the style options we have available are spike, post and glide with multiple rise options and in chrome, black, or brass finishes. We also have pullback and offset risers that allow you to further adjust the distance of your handlebars closer or further away from your body. With such a wide variety to choose from, you’re sure to find risers that meet your needs and have the killer custom look you want.

While you can’t go wrong with new risers, if you already have ones that you love, but wish they were a bit taller, try a riser extension kit. If you do end up switching your bars or risers and you have a size difference between the 1” and 1.25” handlebars, a riser adapter will solve the problem. It’s always a good idea to have extra mounting bolts on hand when changing out or adjusting your motorcycle risers since you never know when one of those bolts or washers are going to disappear on you. With mounting hardware from Paul Yaffe’s Bagger nation, Demon’s Cycle, and Gardner-Westcott, you can rest easy knowing that you have quality products holding your bike together.

Some people choose to have a riser clamp vs. traditional risers to reduce the stress that’s put on the mid-section of your handlebars. The riser clamp securely bolts to the center handlebar section and disperses the stress away from the middle creating a much stronger center that will generally stand the test of time much better, especially if you’re a rough rider. Just because they have a low profile doesn’t mean riser clamps can’t add their own custom look, especially when they come from Demon’s Cycle, Wild 1, and Paul Yaffe’s Baggernation.
